Introduction
First, let's begin by talking about a skill. A skill is something that you are really good at. The way that you get really good at this is by practicing. There are so many different skills that you can have. Just a few are: riding a bike, playing an instrument, making a free throw, tying your shoes, and swimming under water. One skill that I have is that I can make really yummy chocolate chip cookies. I was able to become really good at making these by practicing and making them many of times. Now put your thinking caps on. What is a skill that you have? Oh, you can't tell me that you don't have a skill, because I know that there is something you are really good at.
Now that we know what a skill is, do you know an animal that has a skill? Like a really, really cool skill? I am talking about a skill better than playing fetch, flying, or even playing dead. But playing dead is a pretty cool skill, right? Well, the animals on Farmer Brown's farm have an even better skill than those! Farmer Brown cannot believe what his barnyard animals are up to now. Do you have any guesses as to what their skill might be? Well, why don't we keeping moving forward to find out.
Task
We have a few different tasks to complete before we can gain yet another skill. First, we are going to listen to the story “Click, Clack, Moo Cows That Type” by Doreen Cronin. Then, we are going to watch a video about how our new skill in going to work. Do you remember what I said about practicing your skill? We have to practice to get good at it, right? Well after the video, we are going to practice finding rhyming words. After some practice, there will be a fun activity to that you will get to do. Once we complete all of these tasks above, then I will have a classroom full of students with a brand new skill! Are you ready? Let’s go!

4th: Skill Perfected?
I want to make sure that you are amazing at your skill, so let’s do just one more activity. First you will need to get out a sheet of paper, and draw 2 lines on the page like a little “t” to divide the page into 4 squares. I am going to give you four words, and I want you to place one word in each of those boxes. Then, I want you to think of words that rhyme with each word. I want at least 3 rhyming words for each word that I give you. Write your words in the boxes with the words it matches. When you are done, that means you should have 12 words that you came up with, and the 4 words that I gave you. Don’t forget to write your name on your page. Once you have completed the activity, turn your paper into the turn in bin. Below I have a sample of what your paper should look like, but remember the words on your page should be different.
Your words: cat, shell, van, bog
Evaluation
This rubric will be used to grade step 4 of this Webquest.
Conclusion
Congratulations, you now have one more skill to add to your skill set! Your newest skill being is able to find and make rhyming words. That skill is just as awesome as the cows and ducks being able to type on the typewriter! Thank you so much for working so hard today, and I hope that you have had fun.
