Sea Turtle Webquest

Introduction

You have been hired as the new sea turtle keeper at a zoo. Your job is to know as much as you can about sea turtles and how to take care of them. You will be responsible for making sure they have an exhibit that suit their needs! Your goal is to share information with visitors they may not know about sea turtles. How can you achieve this?

We will be reading One Tiny Turtle by Nicola Davies. This read aloud will give general background information on sea turtles before starting our project. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVEDG1jooyE&ab_channel=Ms.Shelly%27sReadAloud

Task

Poster Board Presentation

You will create a poster board using all the knowledge you have of sea turtles to design the best exhibit for the turtles and the guests coming to view the sea turtle exhibit. The guests at the zoo should leave the exhibit knowing important information about sea turtles.

You will present this poster board to your fellow zoo keepers (your classmates) on how you will create the best exhibit for the turtles based on their needs and the most important information guests need to know about sea turtles.

You will need an exhibit design with 3 reasons as to why this is a good exhibit for the turtles and 3 facts about turtles that guests may not know. How will you share this with your guests?
