Alcohol is the drug of choice among teenagers and adolescents as it is the most widely misused substance by youth. However, underage drinking has huge health and public safety risks. Work through the following Webquest to become more aware about the dangers of underage drinking, reasons why youth turn to alcohol, and the consequences of underage drinking.
Students will work independently to discover information related to underage drinking for later use in a research paragraph.

TASK – Essential Question: How are youth affected by alcohol?
You will visit 3 different resources to become more aware of various aspects of underage drinking.
Each resource covers a different aspect of alcohol: alcohol and the teenage brain, reason why youth experiment, and the consequences of underage drinking.
At each resource you will have questions to answer. Each question is worth 1 point.
