Teacher Page
This activity has been created for beginner ESL first graders in a science class. The main purpose is building vocabulary through different online activities as well as reinforce pronunciation while engaging the students in the use of new technologies.
The teachers can make this activity a little more challenging by asking students to explain one of the phases. By placing students into groups, they can use google slides to work simultaneously on their presentation. Another way is by a paper/pencil activity, students can create an informational text in groups to inform other kids' about the phases of the moon; make sure to provide students with construction paper, markers and glue.
