Introduction
Hello, researchers!!
You are about to do a WebQuest activity in groups of four. Remember to read the instructions in the Task section and ask as much to your teacher as you may need.
Let's get down to work!
Task
You will need to create a poster board for an oral presentation on ONE archeological finding or historical event that you have been assigned. All the steps and required information are explained in the Process section; make sure you select the most relevant information so that your classmates can have the most complete idea about your finding or event.
Your job will be to persuade the teacher in the oral presentation that the finding or event that you have been assigned is really important, and your poster board deserves to be printed and hung on the wall of the classroom.
Have fun researching!
Process
Part 1
First, in order to contextualize the finding or event that you have been assigned, visit the following webpage devoted to describing and providing information related to the culture of different countries.
This must be a brief introduction that should take no more than a minute in your final presentation.
One student from the group will be in charge of introducing the country.
Part 2
Second, click on the following hyperlinks to get information about your finding or historical event. This time, you should focus on looking for interesting and relevant information to present so that the rest of the class can have a complete idea of it.
1. Brief description of the event/finding: What is it? What did it happen? When and where did it take place?
2. Causes and effects of the event/finding.
3. Time sequence of the event or the progress of the finding.
4. Specific data that can be of interest in a specific area of knowledge related to the event/finding: arts, architecture, medicine etc.
5. Social impact: In what way has this event/finding affected nowadays society? what have people learnt from it?

This is the part that should take the rest of your presentation time right after the introduction of the country.
This information should be presented by the other three students of the group.
Part 3
Finally, you have to design your poster board with Canva, a great ICT tool for designing any kind of graphical presentation.
Remember not to include too much text, most of the information provided about your finding/event must be presented orally.
