This webquest will allow kindergarteners to explore jobs in the community.

Introduction

You will be going on a trip around the city!  On your trip you will discover some of the workers in our community and see where they work and what they do.

When your trip is over you will be able to tell the class about your favorite community worker and show us  a picture you have drawn.

1. Draw a picture of the community worker including the tools they use to do their job.

                                Don't forget the details!!!

2. Be able to tell the class about your community worker.

                        How do they help us or keep us safe?

                        What tools do they use to do their job?

                        Why did you choose your community worker?

Oral Presentation- students are expected to participate in the discussion and offered a detailed description of their favorite community helper.

Drawing- is expected to be neat and organized. Offers details such as; facial features and tools. Name is on paper.
