After attending the excursion to Elizabeth Farm, there are 2 activities that I would like you to do.

The activity questions provide factual knowledge on the First Fleet, while also drawing on your experiences from the excursion.

• Who led the soldiers and the convicts?

2. Click on the topic titled ‘Work’ and answer the questions below in your own words.

• What are some of the work that convicts did?

• What did the convicts do who did not have any special skills?

• The work that the convicts were doing affected a group of people living on the land. Who were they, and how were they affected?

• How would you feel if you were a convict? (try to think about your experiences on the excursion to Elizabeth Farm)
