A preposition is a word used to link nouns, pronouns, or phrases to other words within a sentence. They act to connect the people, objects, time and location of a sentence.

There are 3 types of prepositions: 

1) Prepositions of time.

2) Prepositions of place.

3) Prepositions of movement.
