Teacher Page

For this webquest to be successful, it depends on four ICT competencies:

1- Content and Pedagogy

Teachers in Bahrain are advised to embed technology in their teaching process. The ministry of education facilitated integration of ICT in classrooms through many ways, such as providing schools with essential equipment and useful software and training teachers and students to use it properly.

Creating webquests help teachers to deliver content to students using ICT tools, which attracts students more than the traditional methods.

2- Collaboration and integration

Collaborative learning is one of the most successful learning strategies to improve students learning. Students learn from each other better than from their teachers. Students are expected to work on this webquest during class hours. They are guided by the teacher to collaboratr and help each other do get the work done.

3- Social Issues

The teacher has listed all the resources she used for copyright issues. Students will probably need to surf the internet for further information. The teacher already discussed with her students the guidelines and rules for surfing the internet safely and ethically since the begining of the year.

4- Technichal issues

As a teacher, I will be supervising my students work and providing technical support to them if needed. For those who will take their work home, they could get my support via E-Mail.
