This is a Webquest about Multiple Intelligences and its usage in the education process

Teacher Introduction

This Webquest is created for:

Third-year students of higher education (TSPU) that are studying English as a foreign language.

Language level: B2+/C1 (CEFR); Upper Intermediate\Advanced

From a methodological point of view

This work follows a Task-Based Learning approach and it aims to develop students' ability to create proper lesson materials according to their students` needs, interests, and abilities.

The real purpose will motivate them to complete the assigned work. Having a real task will teach them how to design materials, being attentive to the level and ability of their students.

From a linguistic point of view, the assignment will improve their:

  • Reading skills: they will have to understand authentic texts written by and for native speakers; they will practice critical reading; online dictionaries are linked in the "Evaluation" page in order to help them;
  • Speaking skills: they will have to prepare an oral presentation and to display it to the class;
  • Writing skills: they will improve writing abilities in the individual work while practicing how to make an activity  and re-elaborate information;
  • Vocabulary: during the research work, not only they'll find and learn new words and idioms but they will undoubtedly develop a specific vocabulary regarding  their lesson

This work will improve students' Digital Literacy. Students will have to use IT tools and devices. They will learn how to make video lessons.  They will work with useful common software like Microsoft Office PowerPoint or Moviemakers.
