Introduction
We will be discussing parents and their young. Many parents and their young are very similar. Although they are not exactly the same. This is a graphic organizer that will help you keep track of everything you are learning through out this activity. The objective of this chart is to match the parent to their young using the names that are specific to the parent and young you are researching. Make sure you have your research worksheet out as you complete each task.

Individually, you will explore several different animals. on your adventure with these animals you will be completing an activity sheet to show what you learn through out the lesson. Make sure to have your activity sheet during every activity to take notes on what you are learning. You will use this note taking activity sheet to complete your evaluation.
at the end of your adventure you will complete a small quiz. The quiz consists of four multiple choice questions, four fill in the blank, one short answer and an extended response question.

Process

The calf needs the cow to protect and keep it safe until the calf is old enough to fend for itself.
