Process

1. Research

TASKS 1-3

https://www.newcastle.edu.au/degrees

Use the "About this Program" and "Program Handbook" pages to find the information you need. You will need to look through both pages. Here are example links, for the Bachelor of Business:

About this program: https://www.newcastle.edu.au/degrees/bachelor-of-business

This section will help you complete the Degree information (Task 1)

Program Handbook: https://www.newcastle.edu.au/degrees/bachelor-of-business/handbook

This site will provide information on the majors and courses in your degree. (Tasks 2 and 3)

TASK 4

Visit the Open Week On-Demand webinar site: https://www.newcastle.edu.au/open-week/on-demand

In "Browse Webinars by Interest" box find your study area and choose a webinar relevant to your future degree and career.

You may need to register for Open Week online first by entering your name and email address.

Watch the webinar and take notes!

2. Make Research Notes

Collect notes as you go, on a word document is best because later, you will be presenting this information as a presentation.

3. Use the prezi website or powerpoint to make an presentation on the results of your research.

If you haven't used prezi before, you will need to sign up as a student for a free, basic account. https://prezi.com/signup/basic/

Choose a free template, and there is no need to create a complicated, very detailed design.

4. Deliver your research in a presentation to the class.

You will be allocated a time by your teacher to present your research!
