Careers in Photography
Like many career fields, photography has a variety of areas that people can branch into as career choices. This assignment is designed to have student research a few of the photographic fields that photographers can work in. Students will be required to create a PowerPoint presentation to display their research on the photography careers listed in the Task section of this webquest.
Task
Careers in Photography
Students will create a PowerPoint presentations that will be called: careers_student'sname.ppt Your name must be included in the file name.
Student will create separate presentation pages to describe the following careers in photography.
- forensic photographer
- photojournalist
- portrait photographer
- sports photographer
- nature photographer
- photographic artist
- photo editor
- commercial photographer
- wedding/event photographer
Process
Careers in Photography
Step 1: create your PowerPoint project
Step 2: For each of the career fields, create a page and give a brief description of the roles and responsibilities for that field of photography.
Step 3: Include at least one example of work created by a photographer in each field. (Credit and sources must accompany all images)
Step 4: Save you work and submit your final project in the vocational drive on the teacher's folder.
