Introduction
Welcome Students!
As a class project, we will be reading the book Sometimes I Lie by Alice Feeney; for the next few weeks.
Sometimes I Lie by Alice Feeney is a psychological thriller; it has so many twists and turns, and the ending is guaranteed to leave you shocked!
Task
Each week you will need to read 1/4 of the book; which is approximately 65 pages for each section.
Here are the page numbers you should read up to:
- Week #1- page 65
- Week #2- page 130
- Week #3- page 195
- Week #4- page 262
After reading each section, there will be questions you need to answer (which will prove to me whether you have read or not). You will also need to tell me what your favorite part or most surprising twist you found out about was, and explain why.
Once you have finished reading all of your sections, there will be a test for you to take (which is over the whole book) and you will also need to write a short essay about what you think happened in the ending. There are so many possibilities, so be creative!
After doing this WebQuest you will be able to understand how childhood problems can affect an adult later on in life, and cause them to do horrible things if they are not dealt with properly.

Conclusion
As you are nearing the end of this WebQuest, you should have: read the book Sometimes I Lie by Alice Feeney, answered all the questions, took the test, and wrote a short essay about what you think happened in the ending. You were challenged with these tasks so you could learn how childhood problems, can affect an adult's character and cause them to do horrible things when they grow up. You learned about the circumstances that drove Amber to kill her sister and take her children. In the end, you can really understand why Amber did what she did, even though it was really wrong of her; it was all caused by issues from her childhood that were never resolved. That is why it is really important for us to help children, while they are at a young age deal with their problems; so later in life, they don't have to deal with situations like these.
