Sports!

Everybody in this world know what Sports are. They are really popular in our communities and probbaly all of you have play spots anytime in your life. Could you imagine our society wothout spots? What do you thibk about the ammount of money that is inveted in them?

Now, imagine for a moment that you wake up in another planet or another dimension. The inhabitats of that new place never listen about Sports. They know NOTHING about them. Your team´s job would be to pick one sport and explain and teach them all you can about it. As help, you can bring a professional practicer of that sport as a guide for the poor aliens that want to learn it. 

What do you have to do then?

1. Choose a sport

2.  What type of physical conditioning might you achieve while taking part in this activity?  What physical conditions can you avoid while practicing that sport?

3. What professional athlete are you presenting? why? Give interesting facts about him or her. 

4.  Get information on the history, rules, equipment and strategies of your sport. 

5. Where can you play this game?

6. Why do you thik that the inhabitats from this new place should learn and play this sport?

Your work is going to be grade twice: 

group work, oral presentation and later you will have to do a peer evaluation to grade your team. All the rubrics will be provided by the teacher. 

You will have 1 session to do this activity. If you are not finished you will have to fo it for homework. The presentation of your projects would be held the next session.
