Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle to Help the Environment!

Introduction

Hello Scientists!

Today we are going to become experts on reducing, reusing, and recycling to help our environment!

It is your responsibility to learn all about these methods by watching the videos and playing the interactive games linked below! After you have completed these tasks you will be ready for the final assessment.

Have fun, scientists!

Task

Good job scientists!

You have completed the prior tasks.

Now, you are ready to complete the final assessment. You have a some options listed below, so pick the one that you like the best! You will talk about this final project to your classmates.

1. You may create something new by reusing trash and recyclables, and talk about how reusing materials helps the environment.

2. You can draw a poster that illustrates what items can be recycled.

3. You can do an oral presentation where you talk about some items you can reduce in your everyday lives.

The following WebQuest was designed so students could learn about how reducing, reusing, and recycling can help the environment. The Next Generation Science Standard that is addressed by this WebQuest is K-ESS3.C - communicate solutions that will reduce the impact of humans on the land, water, air, and/or other living things in the local environment.
