Summer Olympics - Paris 2024

Introduction

Welcome to the International Student Organization for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games!

We want to know more about each of our sports that participate in the Summer Olympics and need your help to do a little bit of digging.

The Summer Olympic Games are an international multi-sport event, which are held every four years (usually). Medals are awarded in each event, with gold medals for first place, silver for second and bronze for third. This quest will help you explore the connections between math and the Summer Olympics.

Task

Pick your partner! ONLY PARTNERS - NO MORE THAN 2 WORKING TOGETHER (You can work alone if you prefer.)

Pick your sport. Only one group/individual can do each sport so once a sport has been claimed it is off the table.

To engage yourself in this quest, you will need to explore basic facts about the Summer Olympics and math connections to this international event.
