Are you ready for a new project? With this WebQuest you will investigate about unknown and uncommon jobs and learn the skills, training, timetable and working days of the people who perform these odd jobs. Get ready to research and surprise your classmates with your findings!!
Task
This WebQuest aims at discovering new and unusual jobs which are performed around the world and research about people's training, skills, timetable and daily routines to perform these jobs.
You will form five groups (4-5 students) and each group will investigate and choose a specific odd job.
Your final task is to create a presentation about the job using one of the following tools (or a combination of them):
- Power Point
- Prezi
Your presentation should include information about:
1. Where is this job performed?
2. What previous training do people need to perform this job? (studies, experience,...)
3. What qualities and skills are required to perform the job?
4. What is the average timetable?
5. Describe a working day performing this job.
