Introduction
Who are the Superhero Cell and where did they come from?

Task
You will be given a quiz before we start the unit. Your job is to find important information about the Immune System to fill out a worksheet. You will learn what various superhero cells are in your body along with some possible villains. After learning about the immune system, you will be able to create a summery filled the important information you gathered.
Process
Over the course of four days the student will read the assigned pages and fill in the boxes on their worksheet about what the student considers important information. Each day the teacher will assign each student a partner to compare what they considered important content while reading. On the fourth day the students will independently complete a summery of the chapter using the important content they found. At the end of the unit the students will be given the same quiz they received at the beginning of the unit.

Conclusion
We will finish up the unit by watching Osmosis Jones, an animated movie about the Immune System.
