Introduction

Have you ever wondered what it is like in outside of the United States? Have you ever wanted to visit another country?
You are about to embark on a journey to another country. You, along with 3-5 other classmates will take a journey around the globe to learn about another country.
Task
You will be able to identify major events, landmarks, country customs, and natural resources that are in the assigned country by doing a group project presentation.
Process
•Choosing
- You will be placed in assigned groups with 3-5 other students
- The groups will be assigned a country at random
- Delegate the roles of each individual in the group
- Landmarks- Objects or features of a landscape or town that is easily seen and recognized from a distance, especially one that enables someone to establish their location.
- Major Events- Events that occurred that had an immediate or long lasting effects on the country. Wars, Treaties, Elections, etc.
- Country Customs- A common way of doing things (also known as tradition). It is something that many people do, and have done for a long time. Usually, the people come from the same country, culture, or religion. Many customs are things that people do that are handed down from the past.
- Natural Resources- Minerals, soil, timber, salt, fresh water, natural gas, petroleum, coal, animals, fish, trading goods and agricultural substances are natural resources that have a material source of wealth and are used in trade between countries or are used by its hosting country.
- Design an organized power point displaying the information gathered.
- Present power point to class.
