THE TASK: In groups of four, you are going to do a role-play. You will perform a documentary film about healthcare in the USA.

1. Correct the homework with the teacher.

PRE-TASK:
2. In groups of four, watch the following video about healthcare in the USA.

3. Rewatch the video. Can you see these compound words?
4. Within the group, answer and discuss the following points.
1. A compound word is...
a) two or more words linked together to produce a word with a new meaning.
b) two or more words linked together to produce a word with the same meaning.
2. Compounds nouns as headache, windpipe and heartbeat are composed of:

3. Compound nouns such as smallpox and backbone are composed of:

4. Compound adjectives end in:
a) noun
b) adjective
c) adjective or present / past participle.
5. Send your answers in a Word or Oppen Office document to the teacher's email.
6. All together, complete the compound words list with more words related to medice and healthcare.
You can use an online dictionary.
TASK:
1- After doing the previous activities, you should think about the roles of every group member. Remember that you are four people:
- SCRIPT WRITERS: you should write the script of a documentary film about the lack of healthcare insurance in the USA. In order to do it properly, you should consider the video you have watched previously. Don't forget to use connectors and compound words related to medicine and healthcare.
- ACTORS/ACTRESSES: The 4 members of the group will film or record the documentary film in front of the camera or microphone. You must read and remember the script. Practise your role a couple of times in order to perform it right!

CAMERA OPERATOR: In case you use https://flipgrid.com/ (use this code: flipgrid.com/enoral4), one member at a time will have to record the documentary film with the video camera on the mobile phone. This communicative situation cannot last more then 3 minutes.

I will use the rubrics posted on the website for the assessment of the task.

Finally, you have finished the task! You should feel very confident if you need to plan any documentary film about healthcare! I hope you have taken in everything we have learnt in this Webquest!

Remember that we form compound words by combining two words which belong to different word categories.
