Touring the World

Introduction

The travel industry has become a major one in the economies of many countries.  In this webquest, you will organize a trip. You will

choose the destination, plan the trip and organize the budget that goes with it.

Task

You have 3000 $ to spend on a vacation of your choice with your best friend.

You must gather information about destinations, hotels, food entertainment……..and organize the trip within the budget. You trip will be

seven days six nights.

Process

Step 1:The first thing that you should choose is your destination. You have three countries to choose from: France-Maldives-Turkey.

You should justify your choice (according to your budget-interest………). To be able to choose watch youtube videos about those

countries (go to resources 1-2-3)   

Step 2: Answer the following questions about the country that you chose: 

1. Find a map of the country that you chose.

2. What is the capital of the country?

3. Write the name of at least 3 other major cities.

4. What is the currency used in the country?       

5. Are there any other official languages? Which ones?

6. Have you learned other information about the country, such as the weather, population or other? Explain them.

 Step 3:After deciding about your destination, You need to plan for the costs involved. Your budget needs to include:

          Air travel

         Lodging

        Travel within the country

        Entry fees for sites         

        Extra for souvenirs or emergencies

         Meals

        Attractions

       Souvenirs 

Write a paragraph explaining where you are going, what you will be doing.

Step 4:You will present to the class and speak about your trip.

Step 5:Give your opinion regarding your friends presentations.
