DEFINITION
•Microsoft Power Point is a professional presentation program that allows the
user to create "presentation slides" that can be displayed on the computer
usually in the form of an outline, to a large audience.
• Generally, Power Point presentations are appealing to users because they are easy to create and edit also generally small enough to fit onto a CD or a U.S.B Jump Drive.
• Therefore, a user does not have to carry around any slides or slide projector,
and, if necessary, can make any last-minute changes to the presentation.

How to Start Microsoft Power Point
There are several ways of starting Power Point. You can start it either by
using the start menu or the Ms-Office shortcut bar on the desktop.
USING THE START MENU
1. Click on the Start button
2. Point to Programs
3. Click on Microsoft Office, then select Microsoft Power Point
The Microsoft Power Point Window appears
4. While on the Microsoft power point window click on the Microsoft power point control Menu the select New.
5. Click to create a new power point presentation and name it as "STEPS"
6. On the first slide type your name and surname as well as class.
7. On the second slide type the first step on this task, the on the second slide the second step, on the third step up to slide 5.
8. To prove that you have mastered the concepts involved in designing power point presentation complete the following task on Socrative Assessment Tool.

Evaluation
In going through this web quest on Power Point Development the main aim to be achieved is to make students able to create a power point presentation in Microsoft Office at the end of the lesson.
This was achieved through arranging the topic into small concepts which are easy to build on then then, e.g. the introduction where clear understanding of the lesson topic is outline as objectives
The Task part where a short practical exercise is to be conducted through following a set of outlined steps.
The processes where apt illustrations are put in place in order to make the learner to grasp the core concept of the lesson by having pictorial views of the processes occurring while mastering the concepts encountered in creating a power point on Microsoft Power Point
In order to effectively evaluate the performance of students on the lesson a Quizzes has been made available on Socrates tool to evaluate students' performances.
Conclusion
In the lesson we have learnt that in order for someone to be able to create a power point presentation the following steps are to be followed.
Steps.
1. Click on the Start button
2. Point to Programs
3. Click on Microsoft Office, then select Microsoft Power Point
The Microsoft Power Point Window appears
4. While on the Microsoft power point window click on the Microsoft power point control Menu the select New.
After selecting New on the forth step, a power point presentation would have been created and the objectives fulfilled. .
