Introduction
During World War II, Hitler decide to have the Jews wiped out, by killing many Jews during the War. Many were sadly thrown into concentration camps because they were Jews. They were blamed for things going on in Germany, the synagogues where burned down. It is said that history will repeat itself once again. Let’s not forget the Jews who died during the Holocaust. Many deny the genocide of Jews, by studying The Holocaust, we will learn many sad things that happen but also many heroes who helped the Jews.
Task
Place yourself in the shoes of the Jews during WWII, imagine being a concentration camp working with your people and you see them suffer of sickness and hunger. Everywhere you are all you see is death.
- Search the worst death camps during WWII? Give information what they had to do and what happen when they came off the train.
- How many Jews died during WWII and others involved in the group?
- Search the heroes that helped the Jews escape from the wrath of Hitler and the Nazi group? Example of heroes are Ten Boom family and Oskar Schindler, etc... Then talk about how they helped and what they did to help Jews escape. What happen when they were discovered for helping the Jews or never got caught for helping the Jews.
