Introduction

This Webquest is to help students get a better understanding of singular and plural nouns.
A singular noun names one person,place or thing.
A plural noun names more than one person,place or thing.
Task
When working with singular nouns, you know that only one person, place, or thing is being discussed. You may be asked to remove the "s", or "es" from a word to make it singular.
FOR EXAMPLE: Peter will use a pencils to complete his homework. Is pencils correct?
THE CORRECT SENTENCE: Peter will use a pencil to complete his homework.
When working with plural nouns, you know that more that one person, place, or thing is being discussed. You may be asked to add the "s or es" to a word to make it plural.
FOR EXAMPLE: Peter bought three pencil at the store. Is pencil correct?
THE CORRECT SENTENCE: Peter bought three pencils at the store.
Students will be asked to give examples of their own of singular and plural nouns and complete the worksheets below.

Process
After watching the video students will get a better understanding of singular and plural nouns. They will then have a word search worksheet to complete, where they will seach for singular and plural terms.
