Introduction
Hi Scholars!
Recently, we learned about why the Articles of Confederation did not work as a government for the colonies! This issue led to a meeting run by George Washington (the elected President of the convention) held in 1787 called, "The Constitutional Convention."
Do you remember what happened there?
The larger states wanted to implement the Virginia Plan, but the smaller states wanted to implement the New Jersey Plan! This only caused more CONFLICT!An action we can take before people result in violence is to make a compromise!
