Before we begin reading Ready Player One, it is important to understand and gain a deeper knowledge of what virtual reality is, and what the different types of virtual reality are. In addition to this information you will also learn about the author, Ernest Cline, why he wrote Ready Player One, and introductory information on particular references in the novel.
