Introduction

Since you already know a lot about birds, we'd like you to investigate a little bit more.

Let's see if you can add research skills to what you already know and learn something new!

Task

For this web quest, you must answer the following questions about some exceptional birds.

Check out the websites below to search for the information and try to answer as many questions as you can before class is over.

At the end, you have to come to your own conclusions about what you learned.

Process

1. Read all questions carefully.

2. Copy the questions into your notebook.

3. Start investigating the websites (and your Science book).  Some websites may take you directly to a page with information, and others are to encyclopaedias.  If it's an encyclopaedia, you will have to search for key words.

4. Answer the questions.

5. Ask yourself:

  • What did I learn?
  • How did I learn it?
  • Did I enjoy the process?
