Introduction
During this activity students will develop their fine motor skills and cognitive development through the use of stringing beads onto yarn.
Task
Students will have the opportunity to use multi-colored beads and they will be asked to string the beads onto the yarn.
Process
The students will pick any variety of beads that they choose and attempt to string them onto the yarn.
Evaluation
The teacher will evaluate the students ability to string the beads onto the yarn. She will record the information in the children's evaluation folders to see where the student is developmentally with their fine motor skills and cognitive development.
Conclusion
This is an age appropriate activity helping to encourage the growth of fine motor development and cognitive development.
