World War II

Introduction

In class, we will be going over WW II. As we near the end of the lesson you will be given a Webquest activity to complete for a grade and for me to know if the you learned and understood the content of the lesson.

Task

The Task:

You are to identify the leaders of World War II, their role in the war, and if they were an Allied or Axis power.

Process

Each student will be given class time to do and complete the assignment. We will be using computers in the library for completion of the assignment.

Evaluation

You will be required to provide the following leaders

1. Leader of the USA, their role in the war, and whether Allied or Axis power

2. Leader of Germany, their role in the war, and whether Allied or Axis power

3. Leader of Great Britain, their role in the war, and whether Allied or Axis power

4. Leader of Japan, their role in the war, and whether Allied or Axis power

5. Leader of France, their role in the war, and whether Allied or Axis power

Conclusion

As you finish the assignment, I want you, as students, to better understand WW II and every different side of the picture in order to understand the even greater picture: Why did the war happen in the first place? With this assignment finished, each of you should be able to answer the question.
