The Purpose of Copyright is to grants the creator of an original work exclusive rights to determine whether, and under what conditions, their original work may be used by others
Why are you learning about copyright?
Copyright is becoming an essential element of digital literacy. as a digital citizen, you have to know how to interact with creative works in ways that are both ethical and legal.
Why is it important? copyright education is a part of learning to think critically about how to select, evaluate, and use information in a digital world.

The following steps will guide you through the process of completing your Copyright and Fair Use PSA project:

While in your group, share and compare your answers to these questions.

Come up with a concept that you would like to create. Write out a plan and submit it to the teacher for approval.

6. Film your commercial. Make sure you practice your lines and scenes before filming.
Remember, it is always better to shoot too much material. Do 2 or 3 takes to make
sure you have it perfect.
7. Edit your film, Make sure to include appropriate music to use as a soundtrack for your
film. Re-watch your film with a "teachers eye" and the rubric in hand. Make sure you
have included all of the requirements.
8. You will present your video to the class, so be ready!
