Process
Steps to Take
1. Watch the video and write down some notes about each type of landforms mentioned
2. Visit each of the following links to research information on each of the landforms. Be sure to name at least one landform in North America and one in Australia.

North America Waterfalls Australia Waterfalls
North America Rivers Australia Rivers
North America Valley- Yosemite Australia Valley

Student shows no understanding of landforms used and their purposes. Does not communicate learning |
Conclusion
Think about what you learned.
1. Why might it be important to know about the different landforms around the word?
2. What might the landforms in North America and the landfroms in Australia tell you about what the weather may be like in each place?

Recomended timeline:
Day 1: Introduction video/discussion and task discussion/ Step 1 of process
Day 2: Step 2 and 3 of process
Day 3-4: Evaluation (creations can be as complex as you want. Students may create 3-D models out of Legos or found materials or may draw pictures. The more complex, the more class time will be needed)
Day 5- Present to class
