Introduction
This WebQuest is about electricity,
Electricity is a form of energy resulting from the existence of charged particles (such as electrons or protons), either statically as an accumulation of charge or dynamically as a current a form of energy resulting from the existence of charged particles (such as electrons or protons), either statically as an accumulation of charge or dynamically as a current .
Electricity is a form of energy, generated by friction, chemical action and mechanical action.
It is a property of basic particle of matter which atom composed of electron, proton, and neutron.
Parallel Circuit
- Is a circuit where there is morethan one path for current flow
Series Circuit
- it is the total resistance is the odd-ups of individual resistance
- The total current is the same through out the circuit
- The total voltage is the sum of individual resistance
Task
Your task will be:
1. Give information on how electricity works, where does it come from and the its danger.
2. Show how does electricity used in our daily life.
3. Demonstrate the two main type in installing electricity in a building.
4. Show a video showing the effect of not following the proper procedure in installing electricity.
Expectation:
After the the lesson' the learners can:
- Define what is electricity.
- Differentiate the kinds of circuit use in installing electricity.
- Apply the two kinds of circuit in the circuit board.
- Use the proper tools in doing the activity.
Process
1. Group the class by pair.
2. Ask them to sketch how the electricity flow in parallel and series using 4(four) bulbs.
3. They will help each other to apply in a circuit board.
4. Identify tools and their uses.
Evaluation
activities:
1. Give them a problem to analyze.
2. Let them sketch the problem.
3. They will apply now to the circuit board the problem they sketch.
Conclusion
After the lesson i found out that some students do not follow the rules and regulation in applying the activities.
To improve their performance:
- they must first understand the flow of electricity
- they must learn correctly how to draw or sketch the flow of electricity to a problem given to them
- they need to practice more in applying the circuits in the electric booth
- they must also practice using the proper tools, equipment and proper attire while performing
