Introduction

INTRODUCTION:

The goal is to identify and able to demonstrate the process of preparing foods with the application and withdrawal of heat, decision making, technical knowledge and manipulative skills.

Task

You will learn the fundamental skill such as chopping, slicing and dicing , confidently use knives for easy cooking. You will make a number of delicious yet simple dishes tom create a portfolio of recipes that you will use on weekly basis. You will also learn a range of techniques, such as boiling, poaching, frying, steaming and roasting.

Process

1. Explain what is cookery and also the coverage of the subject.

2. Watch videos on how to use the basic tools and simple recipes.

3. Bring the basic tools and equipment to be used.

4. Come up with a personalized recipes.

Identify the tools and equipment used in cooking Student failed to identify the tools and equipment in cooking . Student has identified some of the cooking equipment and tools. Student has identified all the equipment and tools used in cooking.  
Procedures in cooking Unable to follow the procedures. Some of the procedures were followed Perfectly followed the procedures.  
Come up with a new recipe (Tools and equipment, ingredients, procedures) Student incompletely do the given task. Student does not follow one of the requirements. Student properly followed all instructions.

 

 

Conclusion

Cookery is a basic skill for everyone to be shared with your family,friends and in the community.
