Introduction
This webquest aims at providing students with valuable information for accurate classification of flowering plants into two major groups monocotyledon and dicotyledon. These flowering plants were chosen because of their significance in fruit and food production and their general contribution to the continuity of life.
Task
In this project students will gather information about monocotyledon and dicotyledon plants, which they will use to classify given specimen. They will also be required to discuss the significance of flowering plants in food production and continuity of life.
By the end of this web-quest students will be able to make a clearer distinction between monocot and dicot plants.

1. Students will watch a video about monocot and dicot plants.
