Task 1 

You must interview an adult and find out as much as you can about their personal migration story.

  2. When did you first migrate?
  3. Have you migrated before? If yes, how many times?
  4. Did you migrate due to danger?
  5. How long did it take you to get from your previous country to Qatar?
  6. Why did you migrate?
  7. Are you happy in your new country?
  8. Do you prefer Urban or Rural areas? Have you lived in both?
  9. Would you like to migrate again? If yes, where to?
  10. How did you travel when you migrated?
  11. Were you the first in your family to migrate?
  12. Would you rather migrate in Summer or Winter?
  13. Have you ever migrated into a different culture? If yes, how did you feel?
  14. Did you migrate because of your family?
  15. Will you go back to the country you migrated from?
  16. How old were you when you first migrated?
  17. Did you migrate for work?
  18. How did migration affect your life?
  19. Do you miss anything about places that you have migrated from?
  20. Is there somewhere that you migrated that you didn’t like?
  21. Did you migrate with your family, friends or on your own?

Task 2

Create a graph of your choosing to display the data that you have collected. 

This can be completed in the form of a pie chart, line or bar graph. 

 

Task 3

Using google, find out the population of two different countries. Try to find out the number of migrants compared to the natives.
