Introduction
In this webquest you will take the place of an American and British general in the War of 1812. You will have to complete the same tasks that a general would have to carry out during the war. By going through these scenarios you will learn how firearms affected the war from both the British and U.S. points of view.
Task
The tasks that you will be assigned to do is to carry out tasks generals from both sides would have to complete in The War of 1812. These tasks may include attack plans, sending a letter to Congress for reinforcements, or whether or not to surrender a battle. By completing these tasks you will learn how firearms affected the war for both sides.
