ICTs in education

Introduction

Nowadays, ICTs are in the education. It's a good way to develop children's learning. Moreover, the new technologies help children to communicate with each other. Many students prefer to learn with ICTs because they think that it's a didactic way to develop their knowledge. 

On the other hand, there are children that want to learn with traditional system because is easier for their families. 

In this WebQuest, you will know which way is the best to learn. I will compare both ways to learn.

Task

To be able to answer the questions posed in the introduction, These exercises will be based on the days of the week. I will propose two activities:

  • Online questionnaire: to teach this content, I would do a Kahoot to look if the students know the days of the week.

 

  • Fill the gaps: I would do the class theoretically and then I would give a token and you would have to do in class.

 

Process

  • Online questionnaire:

Step 1: Teacher will explain the content "The days of the week."

Step 2: Teacher will plug the computers and will enter to the website of the Kahoot.

Step 3: Children should answer the questions correctly and as quickly as possible. 

  • Fill the gaps: 

Step  1: Teacher will explain the content "The days of the week."

Step 2: Teacher will distribute the tokens for students to complete it. 

Steo 3: Children should fill in the gaps to complete the activity. 

 

Evaluation

To evaluate this topic, I would assess whether children have understood the content that they have to learn, analyzing the result of both activities and doint the mean of the two marks. Furthermore, I would make a rubric because in this way, I could show it to parents who would like to claim. 

Conclusion

To conclude, I would like to say that ICTs have to be important in education because the society is changing today. So, I will use the new technologies when I will be teacher. But there are situations where you can't use the ICTs.
