Introduction
Welcome to 3D wording where 3rd graders are going to do a set of activities involving language arts. This lesson will last about 30-45 minutes.
Task
Purpose: Student will be able to learn multisyllable spelling words by physically moving around and spelling words. This will be a fun and creative way to have students remember their spelling words.
1. Student will be able to spell words with their own bodies.
2. The student will be able use higher thinking by creating letters with the use of their peer’s arms and leg.
Process
1. Watch the following video on body alphabet https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mmji-z2vcbU
2. Break into small groups and come up with creative ways on how to form each letter with a body part.
3. Present your favorite spelling word to a peer.
4. Activity check independent learning - have each student draw what they think each letter would look like with their classmates body parts.

6. Students will do an exit survey of what they found interesting.
Evaluation
- With the rubric
- check off what group got the words right by the class figuring out what word was shown and what word was shown wrong that the class missed.

Conclusion
- I found it to be simple and straight to the point. This is a good way to keep students engaged because it creates a new way to help students learn words.
