Locating Landforms ~ The Great Aussie Roadtrip

Introduction

Landforms are phenomenal works of nature we often take for granted. They are formed in many ways and  are situated in an array of locations across Australia. To rejuvenate or simply accentuate your love for nature and appreciation for the environment you must embark on a journey.

It's travel time! Today you and three of your classmates are setting out on the trip of a lifetime - you're off to see the sights of Australia. It's time to experience the enormity of Uluru, the picturesque Great Barrier Reef, the vastness of the Swan River and much more.

Let's hit the road!

Task

G'Day Mate! Today you and three of your classmates will be travelling on a virtual journey throughout Australia. With the help of your trusty land cruiser and some interactive maps, the four of you will make your way through our great land in an effort to locate Australia's biggest, boldest and most beautiful landforms.

Each of you will be allocated a specific role, all of which are key to making sure the trip runs smoothly. It is important that you work together to complete the task correctly and efficiently.

At the end of the road-trip you will have used the provided internet resources to locate FIVE of Australia's exquisite landforms, and together with your fellow travellers you will have compiled a table showing evidence of exact location, surrounding landscape/s, type of landform and accompanying images.

Good luck! Try not to get lost.
