Evaluation

Formative Assessment

Students will be graded on their participation and classwork during the class.

I will be using the 4 point scale rubric with grading each of our students

4 (proficient) - students are fully engaged and participates frequently during the lesson. They include convincing evidence in their answers on the focus of each question. They extracted lots of information, no grammar issues, and were able to discuss about it to their group. Listeners are likely to gain new knowledge about the topic from their examples and conclusions.

3 (average) - students are fully engaged and participates fairly during the lesson. Their evidence from their answers were average on the focus of each question. They extracted some information, they had some grammar issues, and were able to discuss it to their group. Listeners are likely to gain some knowledge from their information about the topic from their examples.

2 (needs improvement) - students somewhat engaged and participate occasionally during the lesson. They had mediocre evidence in their answers on the focus of each question. They extracted small amounts of information and they have lots of grammar issues. Listeners are likely not to gain new knowledge from their information about the topic.

1 (below expectations) - students do not participate all during the lesson. They barely had any evidence in their answers on the focus of each question. They did not extract enough information about the topic. Listeners are likely not to gain any type of knowledge or information from their information.

Quiz After the assignment is done just so that I can understand their knowledge towards the subject.

Conclusion

Once all the research and answering questions are done, each group partner will try and create their answers into a journal prompt. Make sure to use the rubric as a reference to receive the best possible grade!
