Introduction

Who was born February 6, 1911? You don't know? It was Ronald Reagan of course! Before he became the 40th President of the United States he did other cool stuff. He was a Hollywood actor and a union leader. He also was the 33rd governor of California. cool stuff right?

Task

Researching Ronald Reagan and his presidency, you will become Reagan and act like you are running for President. You will be able to make at least three advertisements to send out to classmates. You will also need to look up speeches to perform in front of the class. at the end of the speech i will ask you questions about him to make sure you know your stuff. You will be asked two of the following questions:

Where was Reagan born?

What was the date that Reagan died?

what happened March 30, 1981?

was he reelected? when?

what was his nickname before he became president?

Process

step 1: research Ronald Reagan to make sure you know who it is you are pretending to be.

step 2: plan out your advertisements. this includes- who are you sending them to? what is it going to look like? are you going to draw it? if so you need to color it neatly and make it colorful.

step 3: listen to speeches done by Ronald Reagan and either copy his speech or make up your own following what he says in his speech.

step 4: be prepared to answer questions about Ronald Reagan.
