For this wonderful WebQuest, we shall be looking at the multiple social classes in 1960's America. This will help build your background knowledge for the Outsiders project we are about to begin.
Task
You are going to choose one of the following activities to demonstrate your understanding of the social classes:
- Create a Poster (on posterboard)
- Create a Graphic Organizer
- Write a Paper (2 pages)
- Make a PowerPoint or Prezi Presentation (10 slides)
You'll break into groups of three and be given the following roles per group member:
- Research America in the 1950's and 1960's
- Research what was happening in Tulsa in the 1950's and 1960's
- Compare and Contrast the social classes of the 1960's
