Introduction
Dear Miss Conway's Second Grade Students,
My name is Sam and I am in second grade in Florida. My family is planning a trip to Pennsylvania and I can't wait to see all the sights! Unfortunately, I do not know much about Pennsylvania or what to do there. My Mom and Dad love history and would like me to be able to visit important landmarks and learn all about them. My teacher told me that you are going to learn all about them this week in class.I hope that you can put together some information on these important places so I can impress my parents with my knowledge! I look forward to hearing from you soon!
Your Pal,
Sam

Task
Welcome Students!

Your Challenge Is To....

Use the provided websites to learn as much as you can about each location or document.
-
Gather information and record it in your PA Places packet.
-
At the end of each day you will create a power point slide including a picture and 5 important things about each monument or document.
-
At the end of the day your power point slide will be sent to Sam to help him gain knowledge to impress his parents for their trip!
