Introduction
Hello students! Do you remember our discoveries on the life cycle of a frog? We have only talked about one of the four different animals that have a life cycle similar to a butterflies. Now, you are going to be the teacher! I am going to put you in groups of 4 and I want you to research another animal's life cycle and the habitat it lives in. You may pick from frog, butterfly, turtle, fly, chicken, etc. Now, lets get started!
Task
Your job is to research your animal's life cycle. You must describe each stage of the life cycle, and the habitat that the animal of your choice lives in. Following your research, you will design a poster with pictures and the information you have discovered. Lastly, you will present your poster to the class as a group!
Process
Steps:
1: Get into your assigned groups
2: Pick an animal and its habitat.
3: One person from each group get onto the computer and research the needed information.
4: After all researching is complete, the group must create a poster describing your findings.
5: Once the poster is complete, the group will come up and present your poster to the class.
Tip: Make sure to check your spelling and punctuation!

I hope this web quest is useful to you and your classroom. I created this assignment after studying the life cycle of a butterfly the previous week. I let the students get into groups and pick the animal of their choice to make it more interesting for them. I asked them to teach the lesson in front of the class so they do not only learn their animal's life cycle, but everyone else as well!
