Introduction

Bridges are essential to everyday lives and in this web quest you will looks at some of the most famous bridges ever built and their purposes. 

some examples of famous bridges are

-The Golden Gate, famous for it's orange glow and it is a suspension bridge that connects San Fransecso bay to the pacific ocean

- Akashi Kaikyo, the longest suspension bridge ever built and connects honshu to awaji isalnd, they were in need of a bridge to reduce risks of death and injury

- harbour bridge, one of the iconic images of Australia along with it's partner the Opera House it connects CBD to North Shore

- brooklyn bridge- a hybrid suspension/cable bridge and one of the oldest bridges in the untied states.
