Task

Watch the "Harriett Tubman Story" video. In your journals, answer the question that will be shown in the beginning. It states "Could you imagine risking your life for the freedom of others?" Be sure to elaborate on why you would or would not risk your life for the freedom of others.
As you are exploring the links, answer the following questions in your journal:
- Who was Harriet Tubman?
- Give at least 3 of Harriet Tubman's contributions.
- What were at least 3 challenges Harriet Tubman faced?
- What was the Underground Railroad?
Imagine you were once a slave who escaped the Underground Railroad. People have asked to hear about your journey, all the people you met along the way, all of the obstacles you faced, etc. Share your story with them in a two paragraph essay. Make sure your story is engaging and includes at least 10 vivid details and accurate facts.
