Currently a business-as-usual approach is still the dominant mindset in a most cities, regions and countries. In addition resources are often viewed and managed in isolation.
Through this WebQuest, you will research more about the connections of resources and how they could be better managed. You will find an abundance of information about resource management, mining and food production, which will enable you to complete the task at the end of this WebQuest.

Your assignment is made up of two parts:
1. Choose a resource/commodity from the list below:

Research how your resource/commodity is processed and managed in Australia. Write no more than a page.
tip: Keep the learning topic in mind when writing your page and do not focus too much on the process outside of the focus of SD.
2. You are going to present your findings to the class (3 minutes allocated). Highlight the main points relating to management strategies and SD, do not focus on the process too much outside of this focus.
