Introduction
Good morning!
Reading is important activity in learning language. There are some technique, one of them is scanning. Scanning is a technique used when someone tries to find a specific item such as a telephone number, a date, a time, etc. Scanning involves very rapid movement of a person's eyes up and down a page. When scanning we should focus on the author's use of organizers such as bold print, lettering, numbering, colors, signal words such as first, second, and so on. After locating the area on the page that the person desires, he/she may then skim for more information.
Task

2. Read the article
3. Find main idea of article by using scanning technique and write in the paper
Process
1. Teacher asks student to share the answer to the class
2. Make discussion between all of students with create small group
3. Every group chose best and matching idea from the article
4. Presented in front of class
Evaluation
Correcting any student faults and allowing students to ask questions
Conclusion
Scanning is reading a text quickly in order to find specific information, e.g. figures or names. It can be contrasted with skimming, which is reading quickly to get a general idea of meaning.
