Introduction
Today you're going to look through some online materials, as well as be reminded of readings that we have done, and then you are going to present to folks in the room the best ideas for how to approach difficult reading and writing tasks. After the presentations, you will be working with the texts you brought in to FIELDTEST a method or two that might help you.
Task
You will be reading/viewing 2-3 pieces, then getting together with your table group to come up with 2-3 suggestions for reading or writing that will help people long after Writing 2 ends.
Process
OVERVIEW
Look through the two sections of links (Reading Strategies & Writing Strategies) and look at two to three resources. When you get back together, you will be sharing what you looked at and, on the whiteboard, creating some KEY WORDS that will help people remember what you did.

Evaluation
To get credit for this, you simply have to present and try out a particular technique.
Conclusion
You've walked through a set of resources, and I want to emphasize a couple of things:
- The web actually has some quality advice out there.
- Writing 2 readings still matter after Writing 2--the writing advice still holds.
- Remember that real writers write with and for others. Having people, like you have in this class, read your writing and write with you is a key to succeeding at college and after.
